The Hang-On Buddy provides a stable platform when mounted properly. Like the hang on treestand itself, the Hang-On Buddy is designed to be mounted fairly level side to side, and on a tree that tilts back slightly.
   The side to side motion is inhibited by the Hang-On Buddy locking pin. Mounting the Hang-On Buddy mounting base on a tree that tilts back slightly eliminates that downhill skiing feeling, just like normal attachment.
